My paintings conjure figures—human, hybrid, and otherworldly—radiating luminous color and psychological intensity, hovering between the visceral and the dreamlike.

They emerge somewhere between discovery and invention—bold and playful, raw and unsettling.

In my series “Heads” richly pigmented shellac inks on non-absorbent paper give form to figures that move between humor and death, pain and sublimity, the local and the galactic.

Based in New York, I hold a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (1996). My work has been exhibited in New York and internationally.
